Clinton Township

Clinton Township is located in central Macomb County. This community has the largest population of any township in the State of Michigan. Clinton Township can be best characterized as a community that went from rural to fully a fully suburbanized development.

Clinton Township is home to the center campus of Macomb Community College, the University Center and the Macomb County Library. Township residents enjoy a wide range of recreational opportunities including a hike/bike path. Located adjacent to Metro Pky, the bike path provides a pleasant, non-motorized link to Metro Beach Metro Park in neighboring Harrison twp. Industrail activity is found primarily on Groesbeck Highway and in industrial parks along M-59. Clinton Twp’s extensive transportation network facilitates rapid north-south transit via interstate 94, Gratiot Avenue and Groesbeck Highway.
