Grosse Pointe Farms

Grosse Pointe Farms is a quiet tree-lined neighborhood which is serviced with a number of fine shopping establishments as well as cultural and recreational facilities. The city is home to The Grosse Pointe Historical Society, The Country Club of Detroit, Crescent Sailing Club and the Grosse Pointe Club.

The city offers two parks one of which Kirby Field which is used as an athletic facility. The farms Pier Park boasts 17 1/2 acres located on beautiful Lake St. Clair. It features 200 feet of beach, an outdoor swimming pool, picnic area with grills and picnic tables, tennis & shuffleboard courts , a fishing pier, two playgrounds and much more.

The city maintains all the streets with the exception of Mack Avenue and Lakeshore Road, which are maintained by Wayne County.
